Heather Bolint, Hostel in the Forest

Heather Bolint recently finished her term as the manager of the Hostel in the Forest. She is a graduate of Antioch University of New England, with a MA in Environmental Studies. After working for three years as the Seattle Grassroots Director for the Humane League, an international farm animal protection nonprofit, she felt the need to pursue her lifelong dream of thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail. During those six months, she stayed in numerous hostels and grew to love and respect the hostel community on the east coast. Working at the Hostel in the Forest for the last five and half months has been a dream job and a calling she felt pursued to fulfill. Today she is joined by the current kitchen manager, Jakob, and latest garden manager, Laura.
